ENTRY TO TECH SKILL SET

Using Technology

Technology is now a fundamental part of our lives – there are screens we interact with every day. The use of technology will only increase in the coming years. The need for software developers, hardware administrators, infrastructure designers and support technicians will grow exponentially over the next decade.

The Certificate III in Information Technology is the starting point for formalising knowledge and skills in readiness to determine a technology you will specialise in.

Providing a strong foundational understanding across multiple disciplines, this qualification will provide an opportunity to ensure you have an idea on the roles and responsibilities for technicians in any field – machine learning, networking, security, programming, web development, artificial intelligence, robotics, data analysis… and the list goes on!

What Will You Study?

As a student of our industry-built certificate iii qualification, you will be introduced to a range of roles available in the I.T. industry.

As Academy IT has delivered vendor-based training since 2007, you will undertake studies built upon best practice and cutting-edge vendor based and ‘underground’ tools.

You will learn how to develop web sites, build, manage and support computer infrastructure, setup and configure networks, write computer software, manage privacy and security in an online environment and much more.

Whether you have a strong idea of a particular field you’d like to pursue, or are simply looking to get an idea of what it would be like to have a career in I.T., the Certificate III in Information Technology is the best start.
