The ‘On Ramp’ to working in Information Technology
Are you looking to gain a basic understanding of working in the fast growing Information Technology industry?
This laser-focused course has been designed to support individuals looking to get a potential Traineeship with an employer for a job in IT. This 6-week programme is delivered live-online with facilitated training, supported by self-study and assignment work, as well as group activities.

The IT industry is constantly evolving as new technologies are developed. Academy IT are continually developing programmes in conjunction with industry partners to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant.
Academy IT trainers are experts with years of experience in the IT industry. They hold certifications in each of the courses they teach.
This skill set addresses the skills and knowledge needed to support individuals in gaining basic technological knowledge and general ICT skills as they enter into specialised and non-specialised ICT careers.
THINGS TO KNOW
Accreditation achieved upon successful completion of the course:
- ICTCLD301 Evaluate characteristics of cloud computing solutions and services
- ICTICT443 Work collaboratively in the ICT industry
- BSBXCS303 Securely manage personally identifiable information and workplace information
- ICTPRG302 Apply introductory programming techniques
These units of competency can provide credit towards ICT30120 Certificate III in Information Technology and other qualifications that allow for the selection of these units.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, but a desire to be working in an IT role is required.
