Audience Profile
This course is for IT Professionals with expertise in designing and implementing solutions running on Microsoft Azure. They should have broad knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualisation, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platform, budgeting, and governance. Azure Advanced Administrators use the Azure Portal and as they become more adept, they use the Command Line Interface. Candidates must have basic skills and knowledge of Azure administration. It is recommended that students have attended the AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator course prior to attending this course.
At Course Completion
- Administer Azure services with a deep knowledge and understanding.
Prerequisites
- Understanding of on-premises virtualisation technologies, including VMs and virtual networking
- Understanding of network configuration, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies
- Understanding of Active Directory concepts, including domains, forests, and domain controllers
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Azure portal, PowerShell, and ARM templates
- Azure Alerts and Activity Log
- Cloud Shell and Resource Explorer
- ASR on a Hyper-V infrastructure to prepare and complete the migration process
- Azure Multi-Factor Authentication
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Container Registry
